Barrel Aged BEER series
We're kicking it old school and bringing brewing back to its historic roots for this series! For thousands of years beers were traditionally brewed, fermented, transported, and aged in wood due to its durability and portability.
Nowadays, we're using barrels to impart deeper flavors both from the different woods and the boozy remnants that came before. Each individual cask, which we source locally as much as possible, has its own distinct character that brings out fuller, more robust flavors of the base beer that we put in.
We'll periodically release special small batches of barrel aged beers exclusively available at the brewery that will stay on tap until they're gone.

#102 - Rye barrel aged ipa
ABV: 13.27% | IBU: 92.85 | FG: 1.015
We aged a Citra IPA in local Finger Lakes Distilling rye whiskey barrels for 6 months to create this brew. With deep notes of caramel and mild spice from the remnants of whiskey, this robust and earthy beer gives you residual sweetness and a long lingering bitterness on the finish.
