If the road can teach you anything it is the difference between what you need and what you don’t. That’s why The Coteries took an acoustic turn in the summer of 2014 following an 11,000 mile long road trip in their old VW Van, Trusty Rusty. Being inspired by the singer-songwriters of their past, The Coteries have adopted much of the same touch. They craft songs around stories and the tight-knit melodies of lead singer Emily Parasiliti woven with accompanying acoustic guitar work from Matt Runciman and Ben Brosh. As they continue to expand their footprint across the Northeast they continue to bolster their sound with new musical accompaniment. Coming off their debut release this past year, the band looks forward to recording their first full length album in 2015.
