Live Music: Tyler Smilo

Born deep in the Rustbelt of Ohio, Tyler Smilo has lived a vagabond’s lifestyle before settling in Erie, PA and taking the city’s music scene by storm. An award winning acoustic artist, Smilo’s Americana influenced folk songs are mostly autobiographical. However, the themes are easily relatable to the “everyman” and his performances both heartfelt and moving. The release of two successful solo albums: Blood Into Sound and Dust In A Grave, a series of official videos dubbed The Rooftop Sessions, and fronting his own full band Daybreak Radio, has earned Smilo accolades in entertainment publications throughout the region. The genuineness and passion of Smilo’s music cannot be denied, and will make a lasting impression on anyone who chooses to take the chance to listen.

Live Music: Alex Kates & Late Night Elixir

Alex Kates, a native of Jamestown, NY, has traveled the country from coast to coast with his music for over two decades. Having mainly played solo as a singer-songwriter, Alex developed "Alex Kates Band" and "Kates Brother's Band" (both with his brother Billy Kates on drums), sharing the stage with Rusted Root, The Royal Southern Brotherhood, and the Spin Doctors to name a few. Live Music: Rhythm & Brews

Chris Fryzowski - Guitar and Vocals
Matt Szeliga - Guitar, Percussion and Vocals

Matt and Chris have been performing together for over 10 years. It all started when a couple of high school friends were bored and wanted to play music together. The result was the phenomenon known as "Rascacielos." Though offered millions of dollars from multiple record labels we decided that getting an education took precedence.

Chris and Matt reunited a few years later to form the duo "Acoustic Dimensions." We played at many bars, restaurants and coffee shops in the Southern Tier of NY and the northern tier of PA to adoring fans.

Time passed and we were looking for a change. We added drummer "Jonny B" Breitfeller in 2006 and changed our name to "Rhythm & Brews." Over the course of a few years we played many gigs with him behind the skins.

Live Music: David Pulizzi

David Pulizzi was born and raised in the once-robust steel and lumber town of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Mostly he plays his own music—finely crafted tunes that touch on American folk, country, blues and rock traditions. His lyrics usually reckon with the ebb and flow of what passes for normal life in these United States. By turns his writing is wry, joyful, brooding, rollicking, reflective and most always deeply insightful.

Live Music: Ampersand Project

The Ampersand Project is an Acoustic Duo featuring Paul Thompson (drummer - Wendy Owens & Renegade, Bad Dog) and Jeremy James (vocalist - Meads Creek). They will be covering tunes from the rock, pop, and country genres.

Performing songs that utilize Thompson's knowledge of various musical instruments, alongside James' heart-filled vocal style, the Ampersand boys want to add to the popular local music scene; hopefully with something familiar, but yet very different all the same.

As the sole vocalist, James will also be accompanied by, and rooted with, his rhythm guitar. Thompson, however, will be providing some great dynamic flair to their act as he varies his position around the stage for different songs. Playing not only a multitude of percussive instruments, Thompson will also be found seated behind a keyboard and at other times be heard picking on an acoustic guitar.

This during-set, 'musical chairs' change-up rotation is something that The Ampersand Project hopes will be a 'cool little niche' to give locals a different vibe and a new-taste selection for their live music entertainment options.
