Founded in 2015, Grist Iron Brewing Company is a microbrewery based in the heart of New York State’s Finger Lakes Region. Perched high over Seneca Lake’s waters on a property of 150 acres, it offers patrons breathtakingly beautiful views of a region that is home to nearly 200 wineries and breweries.

Grist Iron Brewing boasts a large and unique variety of beers created on site. Our passion for our craft is apparent from a wide range of styles and flavors meant to satisfy the craft beer aficionado and the traditionalist alike. From IPA varieties to fruited sours and fine lagers, and with 15 different beers on tap at any given time, there is something for everyone at Grist Iron Brewing.

Our culinary experts take the pub food experience up a notch with a wide variety of pizzas, sandwiches, smoked meats, barbeque, shareables, and frequent specials.  Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available from our menu.

Grist Iron beer can be found in over 100 restaurants and bars throughout upstate New York.  Canned beer to go is available in our gift shop and is distributed to independent stores as well as through Wegmans across the Finger Lakes Region.  New York State residents may also have Grist Iron Beer shipped directly to their door.

The Lodge at Grist Iron is a recently renovated, beer-themed Inn where guests can enjoy upscale accommodations while taking advantage of not only the brewery next door but also, everything our area has to offer.  Large groups of up to 16 can be accommodated at our historic and welcoming Farmhouse, which boasts an expansive deck overlooking Seneca Lake. 

The team at GIB takes great pride in our year-round schedule of events, festivals, and live entertainment.
